Even though I was gifted an advanced copy by the author and I have Kindle Unlimited, I purchased this book to support the author.I really enjoyed this book. The premise was interesting. I liked Kaden and his dedication (or should I say obsession) to Rose. The story is interesting (even though it is a little implausible, as a person that has been asleep for 7 years would not be able to walk around just hours after waking up - even if her body was manipulated during her sleep). The incorporation of the belief that the afflicted person can still hear and on some level comprehend people talking to them made for an even better story. The book has some additional twists that you never see coming and with the added evil touch of the hospital director, I found it difficult to put this book down. Grab a copy and sit back and enjoy (it is a story, it doesn't have to be 100% realistic to be enjoyable).

Great read, loved both stories. Especially liked the relationships between the main characters, the women have a little sarcasm thrown in which I really appreciate. Wished the stories were longer. Will definitely read Melinda's books again.

A sweet story, and a homage to sleeping beauty, only with a HOT billionaire doctor that falls for the beauty without her even being awake!
Add in a little science, and of course an evil hospital administrator you have a sweet, sexy fairy tale re-done!! I actually loved it! I think you will too!
I loved the story this book represented. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves to read. This a inspirational book about emotions and what a person will do for love, even defying hospital rules and regulations. Once you start reading it will not put it down until your finished. Awesome Book!
I really wanted to like this book because who doesn't like a love story, but it had too much unrealistic far fetched stuff. First, the doctor patient boundary was blown to smithereens and everyone knew it. Instead of losing his job or license he's praised by the press, and receives a prestigious award. Let's not forget he's a tattooed poker made billionaire brain surgeon. Yeah, it's gets worse from here.
We're supposed to believe that a person who couldn't walk across the street without stumbling, because of delayed motor skills, can walk into DMV after 10 years of sleeping and not only get a new license, but can drive a luxury sports car while following directions from Siri.
Also regarding those lost motor skills her brain surgeon does one day of physical therapy, instead of a licensed therapist, and she has no muscle loss or bed sores after 10 years in a coma-like sleep. Yeah....
Lastly, the whole ending regarding the device in her head, hormones, and a lab to develop the cure for Alzheimer's just broke the camels back for me. Perhaps if the setting was a galaxy far, far away I could have stomached it more. As it stands this was just too much for me. Didn't read the second book that was attached. I gave up after the daughter had a conversation with her father about "boner" medication.
I read the synopsis and it intriqued me. It was also a new author to me. The heroine being in a coma for 5 years and the hero her doctor. Some parts were believable and others just didn't work. The author concentrated too much on the medical part of the story and not the relationship between the couple. I also didn't like how she kept referring to how plus size she was. All in all though an interesting read.
This book had such an unusual storyline and I absolutely loved it. Nothing like a hot book with a good relationship in it. This book surprised me because I thought it might be cheesy, but it was wonderful! I will be reading it a few more times!
